Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's records for amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by first-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She won her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she ground-and-pound beat her to a TKO victory in the 2nd round. Then, in her third fight she overcame Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd won the fight at the start of round one, and received the Performance of the Night Bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first fight she's had in a major way. Ladd was victorious in by a unanimous decision following an intense back and forth battle between the two fighters, received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended the streak of winning. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. Her most recent bout for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She lost by unanimous decision.
