Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded that are mostly of the horror and martial arts types. Her style and approach are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action films and has a fascination with the morbid. After getting some attention through the channels of Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa) She began to write reviews in late 2009. She was on the website from 2009 until the year 2015 at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. Presently, she hosts two podcasts: one covering the Charmed Franchise and another hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also featured her. as well as appearing on his series Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible kids' films or RiffTrax live programs as well as the occasional adult comedy (including of course Baywatch (2017)). The first time she was a reviewer was the latter part of 2009. Her name gained lots of attention through Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family. She has made numerous appearances on Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall all the way to Phelous & the Movies. She was a member the team of Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
