Annette Funicello, an American actress and singer. Her most famous role was as "one of the first Mouseketeers" from the Mickey Mouse Club. In her teens, she began her career as a singer and was renowned for her hit songs 'Tall Paul' and 'Pineapple Princess.' Annette was an introverted child who grew up in Utica in the company of Italian immigrants. In order to make an impression in the world of entertainment, she began to dance and play. In the mid-1950s, she appeared in several 'Disney' sketches in the role of an actor in the group known as "Mouseketeers" as well as gaining significant recognition. Annette's "Disney" persona was discarded at the age of 18 when she was able to play adult roles. Annette was renowned as one of the actors who initiated"the "beach party" category.
